The dish for the center of the Christofle Malmaison table, 18cm (15247), is the epitome of French craftsmanship and Empire style aesthetics. Created in honor of Malmaison Castle, the beloved Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine, the product carries the spirit of the Empire era with its desire for grandeur, symmetry and noble materials.
The Malmaison collection is one of the most historic in the Christofle range. It is distinguished by a characteristic ornament with graceful palm and lotus leaves arranged in a symmetrical frieze. This motif refers to imperial symbols and the love of exotic plant motifs popular in the early 19th century.
The product is made of silver—plated steel, a material that guarantees durability and the preservation of a noble shine for many years. Special silvering technology ensures resistance to tarnishing, and careful polishing creates an exquisite play of light on the surface.
With Christofle, even the most mundane moments turn into special events. The Malmaison dish doesn't just organize the serving space — it tells the story of an era, combining the traditions of the past with modernity. This is an item that can become a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation.
