Lladro sculpture "Baby Dragon", 18x13cm (16015)

Lladro's sculpture "Baby Dragon", 18x13cm (16015) opens the new Baby Animals collection, which presents 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac in a softer, naive and touching way. In this interpretation of the only mythological creature of the Eastern calendar, the finest sculptural and ornamental work is impressive, recreating the morphology and scales of the dragon's skin with high precision. The product is completely made in white, with the exception of expressive eyes, painted in a deep black shade. A special artistic technique is the alternation of matte and glazed scales, which is achieved by manually removing the glaze using a soft sponge with tiny strokes, giving each figure a unique texture. This touching and premium art object will be a wonderful interior decoration and a memorable gift for a newborn, a child or a porcelain collector.
