Lladro's sculpture "Karabakh Horse", 53x44cm (16067) celebrates the image of one of the main national symbols of Azerbaijan — a graceful, hardy and mountain riding horse. The craftsmen of the manufactory reproduced all the anatomical features of the animal with exceptional accuracy: an expressive head with clear outlines, a straight profile and lively intelligent eyes. Following ancient traditions, the horse's back is decorated with rich decorations imitating the Karabakh carpet with its unique patterns in a harmonious combination of red, green, blue, white and gold metallic shades. The saddle with an elegant floral ornament is hand-decorated with a golden chandelier, and the authentic color is conveyed with the help of copper-brown enamel. The special realism of the composition is given by the bits and stirrups made of gilded brass in combination with the reins made of genuine leather. This unique handmade masterpiece has been released in a strict limited edition of 750 copies.
