Collection Carnets D'Equateur
Animal artist Robert Dallet has devoted most of his life to observing the animal world. He began collaborating with the fashion house Hermes back in 1985, and many of the brand's textile accessories are decorated with drawings of wild animals by his authorship. Today, the masters of Hermes have rethought the artist's work in the Carnets d'equateur collection.
The series includes various plates, cups for tea and coffee, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and even vases. All the items are made of high-quality Limoges porcelain and decorated with unique illustrations by Robert Dallet. Here you can find charcoal sketches, pencil sketches, and even full-scale gouache paintings.
The detail of some of the drawings is amazing: bird plumage, animal fur, and every leaf of the Ecuadorian jungle are carefully drawn. The soothing gray-blue and gray-green colors that predominate in the series are perfectly combined with the gilding that surrounds all the products.
Thanks to the Carnets d'EQUATEUR collection, everyone can embark on an amazing journey through the jungles of Ecuador and share with the creators of the collection the boundless admiration for the beauty of the wild.
